Accessibility Statement for Kira Cares
This statement was last updated on April 5th, 2026.
We at Kira Cares are working to make our site kiracares.com accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same level of ease and understanding as other visitors. This includes support for screen readers, keyboard navigation, readable text structure, and clear page organization. Accessibility improvements help ensure that families can access information about caregiving services when they need it most.
Accessibility Adjustments on This Site
Kira Cares works to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines help make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, mobility, and cognitive disabilities. As part of this effort, we have: • Structured pages using clear heading hierarchy • Used readable font sizes and spacing • Applied color combinations that support contrast and clarity • Added alternative text descriptions to images where possible • Designed navigation that supports keyboard use • Reduced unnecessary motion or animation • Ensured contact forms are simple and clearly labeled • Reviewed site content for readability and accessibility We continue reviewing the website as updates are made.
Declaration of Partial Compliance With the Standard Due to Third-Party Content
Some portions of the website may rely on third-party tools or embedded features provided by external platforms such as scheduling tools, maps, or analytics services. While we work to ensure accessibility wherever possible, we cannot guarantee full accessibility compliance for third-party content. If you experience difficulty using any part of the site, please contact us so we can assist you directly.
Accessibility Arrangements in the Organization
Kira Cares provides non-medical in-home caregiving services in residential environments throughout the Oklahoma City area. Because services are delivered in clients’ homes, accessibility arrangements are customized to each household and client’s needs. We work with families to support mobility limitations, supervision needs, and communication preferences whenever possible. If you have accessibility needs related to receiving services or communicating with our team, we encourage you to contact us so we can make appropriate arrangements.
